The Madison Medical Practice operates on a mixed billing model with specific eligibility criteria for bulk billing. On weekdays, we bulk bill children aged 15 years and under, patients aged 70 years and over, and those who present a valid pension or concession card prior to their consultation.
Adults aged between 16 and 69 years (inclusive) are privately billed for all weekday GP consultations, though a proportionate amount can be claimed back from Medicare after your visit. Standard consultation fees start from $80, with longer consultations charged at higher rates.
Please note that on Saturdays, all GP consultations are privately billed regardless of age or concession status. Some specialised consultations may incur out-of-pocket fees even for bulk-billed patients, which your GP will discuss with you during your appointment if applicable.
